The year 2000 was the Diamond Jubilee year of the parish. To mark the sixtieth anniversary a spacious and well equipped community and cultural hall has been constructed. This hall is a boon to the people of Miyar parish, and a dream of many years come true.
The parish is forging ahead on the path of progress under the dynamic and able leadership of the parish priest Rev.Fr.Vincent Victor Menezes. There is many a project on the anvil, which will serve the parishioners and others alike. The people of the parish thankfully remember the service rendered by the former parish priests.
